What forms of payment do you accept?

Here at Home to Halo Veterinary Hospice, we accept many different payment options, including cash, check, all major credit cards, and scratch pay.

What kind of pets do you treat?

We see primarily dogs and cats. Please contact us directly for exotic pets including small mammals and birds.

Should my other pets be present during the euthanasia visit?
Every pet is unique, thus we advise you to base your choice on what you know about your particular animal. In order to give the other pets a chance to process what is happening to their companion, we believe it is beneficial for them to be there at some point during the visit. To allow for a quiet, peaceful environment during the visit, some families decide to keep their pets in a different area.
Should my children be present for the euthanasia?
This is a personal choice specific to your child and the situation. In general, it is advised that we talk to our kids about the matter in an open and honest manner and let them participate.
How To Get Ready For The Loss Of Your Pet?

What are some ways I can honor my pet’s life?

We provide clay paw prints and a piece of fur at the time of euthanasia. Your pet’s ashes will be returned to you in an urn of your choice if you opt for a private cremation. There are other memorialization choices, such as ink paw prints, ink nose prints, jewelry, etc.
