Erin Hogan, DVM, cVMA

Dr. Hogan earned her doctorate from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008 after completing her clinical rotations at Purdue University. After graduation, she worked in several areas of veterinary medicine, including small animal practice, public health, and end-of-life care.

As she spent time with clients discussing end-of-life care, Dr. Hogan recognized how important these last moments are for families. She wanted to provide a safe and loving environment for her clients and patients during the entire process. She then shifted her focus to fit the needs of aging and ailing pets and their families.

Dr. Hogan believes in a holistic approach to hospice and palliative care that includes both Western and Eastern medicine. She completed her Certification in Veterinary Medical Acupuncture through the Curacore program in 2016 and is currently enrolled in the TCVM Palliative and End-of-Life Practitioner Certification program at Chi University. She also has completed additional continuing education courses through the International Association of Animal Hospice and Palliative Care (IAAHPC) and received a certificate of training from the Association for Pet Loss and Bereavement (APLB) in Pet Loss Counseling.

Outside of work, Dr. Hogan loves spending time with her family- human, furry, and feathered. She enjoys cross-country skiing, hiking, and paddle boarding.
