When it was time to end Charly’s suffering we did it in his favorite place- our bed! Erin worked with us and climbed onto the bed to accommodate our need to hold him through the end. She was respectful of our space to allow us to feel all the feels. And she was so sweet to our other dogs who were in the room with us.
I love that she gathered his fur for us as a keepsake. My husband has been creating resin keepsakes with it!!
When it was time to take his body away, Erin placed him on a blanket covered stretcher and tucked him in right with another blanket. He looked SO COZY! Just like I always saw him. It was a really positive last image of him. He was finally fully at rest!
It takes an incredibly special person to do the job that Erin does. It is such a necessary service, and she does it with such love and respect 🩷

Thank you to the Vet Dr.Erin. She was amazing and gave us clips of Lucy’s hair in a heart container. And Lucy’s paw 🐾 print (hair included in the print). Took her with her favorite blanket. I wanted to keep her collar. I had her since she was 8 weeks old. I’m missing my sweet companion. The whole household is in grief. It feels so empty. She was always by our side. When Mataya was feeding baby Braelyn she kept looking up a staring at the ceiling. Shocked us all. Thank God for the wall of pictures we have in the living room Mataya and I did a few years ago. Lucy was so beautiful and photogenic. We were so God blessed 😇 to have such an amazing German Shepard in our lives! Thankfully I was able to get snuggle time with her even in her death. We have gained an angel on our shoulders. RIP my sweet girl Lucy and choosing us as your family 💔💔💔. Home to Halo with Dr. Erin Hogan we are so grateful to you! Your compassion, kindness, and unwavering dedication to us and our hearts will never be forgotten. God bless you for all you helped us through this difficult journey!

I can not say enough about Dr. Hogan. She was so compassionate and empathetic. She is very patient and there to help comfort the family as well as your beloved pet. I know my Izzy was at peace when she passed not only from all the love from me but also the comfort from Dr. Hogan. We all have a purpose and Dr.Hogan has most definitely found hers. The staff was fantastic! Having to say goodbye to a cherished pet can be incredibly difficult, but the doctor was very kind, sensitive, and professional throughout the entire process. Although it may sound strange, saying goodbye to our beloved Tyrone was a genuinely lovely event.

Dr. Erin is the most compassionate person. Her manner is calming and gentle. We all knew Judy was in good hands. Judy felt no fear and left this world peaceful. Dr. Erin explained every step she would do and asked for questions. It was so beautiful to see Judy treated with such respect. She was so calm with Sassi when Sassi wanted to lick her. Thank you very much for treating us, not as strangers, but as someone you might have known for a long time.

For as hard of a choice as it is to let go of your puppy, I wouldn’t do it any other way. Having Dr. Erin come to the house was very calming. She was so gentle with Gretchen and gave us the time we needed to say goodbye. Very considerate of our other puppies letting them say goodbye in their own way. When it was time to take Gretchen, she had the perfect little basket for transportation. I love that Gretchen’s ashes will be spread in the Boise mountains, it’s the perfect resting place for her.

We had a very last minute request for Dr. Erin to come to our home and help Sylvia move on from her pain. Dr. Erin was there that morning and was so tender, patient and kind during a tough time. The little touches she provided warmed our hearts during a sad time. Thank you so much for helping us say goodbye to Sylvia.

Dr. Hogan was immediately available. So kind and compassionate, like an angel softly sweeping in and gently helping Daisy cross the rainbow bridge. Seeing Daisy securely tucked in with a beautiful blanket eased the pain of the final goodbye. We received her remains in a lovely wooden box placed in the most beautiful, rich deep blue velvet pouch. We felt enveloped in kindness and empathy with Dr. Hogan’s special attention during and after Daisy’s departure.
